Endangered Earth
Summer 2017

Endangered Earth is the membership newsletter of the Center for Biological Diversity, published three times a year in January, July and November. To subscribe to the print edition, become a member of the Center today.

The Center has been very busy defending America's wildlife and wildlands since Trump took office — and this edition of Endangered Earth shows it well, with reporting on some of the highest-profile of our dozens of lawsuits (and counting) against the administration: to save the Arctic and its great white polar bears from being handed over to Big Oil; to save wolves and bears from being shot in their dens on Alaska's wildlife refuges; and to defend the culturally and biologically diverse U.S.-Mexico borderlands (and the jaguars that are once again traversing them) from Trump's wall. Of course we also write about our ongoing work to save 27 national monuments covering more than 1 billion acres of our most beloved lands and oceans.

Also don't miss an article all about a species abroad — Africa's giraffes, which we've petitioned to protect under the U.S. Endangered Species Act — and a piece lauding the launch of our new online news source,The Revelator.
